Holy. Crap. The hair game has been changed forever. Yes, I know I’m late to the party but wow the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer is a necessity!! Last week, I asked ladies on Instagram if this product or the Bondi Boost Wave Wand was worth getting. I was itching for a new tool and the pricing is similar for both products, both are super trendy, and both have great reviews. However, the Revlon product won by a landslide simply because it’s more practical. I even had several ladies message me telling me how much they love their One-Step. So yesterday I headed to Target and purchased the highly-reviewed hair tool for $59.99 in an awesome teal blue color.
After washing my hair this morning, I started by dividing my long, wet hair into three layers and used the tool one layer at a time, starting with the bottom layer. I used the “high” setting since my hair is semi-thick. At first I was worried about the thickness of the barrel since it’s way bigger than any other hair tools I’ve used. But it was actually an easy adjustment. I was also worried about my hair getting tangled because with the length that it’s at, it’s been getting tangled when I use a regular hairdryer. But there were absolutely no instances of tangling. The tool goes through the hair so easily and smoothly. It’s pretty magical. It is unlike anything I’ve ever used before and I cannot believe it took me so long to purchase.
I have to leave my house at 11:45 this morning. Since I was totally clueless about how long this revolutionary tool would take to completely dry my hair, I began at 10:52am. It is currently 11:13am. I finished my hair at 11:07am… that’s fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes to both blow-dry AND straighten my hair. That is unheard of for me. I did not expect it to be so efficient and effective. Not only did I not expect how quick the process would be, I did not expect my hair to feel so smooth. My hair never feels like this unless it’s immediately after a professional blowout.
All of the ladies who told me this product is worth it were right. I highly HIGHLY recommend this tool. It cut my hair styling time in half. It completely eliminates the need for a straightener let alone the need for a brush. Typically after a normal hair dry, I am sweating and still need to use my straightener for a little extra taming. But not anymore! I might never let my hair air-dry again because I already love this tool so much.
This is a must-need hair tool for everyone who frequently uses a blow dryer and/or straightener, needs a little extra volume, or simply wants to cut down their “getting ready” time and sleep in a little longer. The best part though?! Absolutely no sweating!!
